Looking for a hands-on team-building experience your team will actually enjoy? Pottery is an amazing, mindful and creative activity for colleagues to get out of their comfort zone and discover hidden talents.

  

Team building events in a pottery studio – an out-of-the box outing your team will definitely remember!  Private event packages start at $95 per person.

 

In the studio, Bring your group of up to 12 guests for a private pottery session that is guaranteed to spark creativity, encourages collaboration, and gets everyone away from their screens. Roll, smooth and mold clay or paint and sip already made bisque-ware.

 

For larger groups, Slip Studio will come to you. Our team will bring everything needed for an in-office pottery experience. Of course, Off-site events are available for groups of up to 24 guests.

During our pottery parties, you’ll have full access to our beautiful and calming studio for a delightful private class. Whether it's a birthday celebration, a team-building event, or simply a gathering of friends, our private events offer a unique and immersive experience for up to 12 guests. It's the perfect setting for an intimate gathering filled with creativity, mindfulness, and hands-on learning.

Ariella will guide you and your guests on a creative journey as you learn techniques in hand-building with clay. From slab-building mugs to pinch-pot sake cups, carving clay or painting glaze, there is something for everyone to explore. And don’t worry, Ariella will guide you through the process, one step at a time, teaching you tricks and techniques in working with clay. Unleash your inner creative spirit and come into the studio for a wonderful pottery experience.

Food is always an option! A curated selection of wine and cheese, A Matcha demo and Japanese cream puffs. An olive oil tasting and grazing board. We are always happy to talk food:)

Terms & Conditions:

Booking & Payment
  • Register and pay online at least one week prior to your event date.
  • Our parties are capped at a maximum of 12 students.
  • In the event of snow or severe weather, any cancellations or changes will be communicated via email as early as possible.
What’s Included
  • All instruction, materials, tools and firing fees.
  • Your pieces will be ready for pick-up 4-6 weeks after your workshop date and notified by email.
Day of the party
  • Please arrive on time, ready to get your hands dirty.
  • We have aprons on hand, but don’t worry, clay and glazes come out in the wash.
  • For late arrivals the instructor will do their  best to help complete the project on time.
Can I bring my own food?
  • Yes, you can! You are more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the studio.
  • We have stainless steel cutlery and glass cups for use.

  • Please note that all private parties are non-refundable.
  • We understand that life happens and things come up, and are happy to accommodate a one-time reschedule.

Studio Details
  • Slip Studio is located on the main floor of a large commercial building called “the Switch 210”.
  • DO NOT FOLLOW GPS which sends you to the back of the building!
  • Go up the stairs of the main entrance. At the SWITCH lights, turn right and go to the end of the hallway, then turn left and continue walking to the back of the building. Suite #127 is tucked away on the right.
  • Parking is free and plentiful, out front on County Center Road or the adjacent parking lot, in front of the roundabout /traffic circle.
