Slip Studio offers memberships to ceramic artists looking for a communal workspace and studio access. If you’re an experienced potter able to work independently (and cleanly:)) please read below. If you are just starting out, head to our classes page to learn more!

We have a limited number of memberships available, through an application process. This process is to determine your needs and our studio’s- do we jive? Slip Studio is a small private workspace in White Plains, NY.

We do not offer potters wheels. We do not reclaim your clay. We do offer private worktables and communal work tables (when classes are not in session) for handbuilding only. We have all the tools and equipment you would need (slab roller, extruder, ware boards, sponges, tools, house-made glazes and a selection of commercial glazes).

Our kiln fires weekly: bisque (cone 04), glaze (cone 6) and luster. We are open everyday from 10am to 9pm. Members will log into our portal to book their time slots: 10am-1pm, 2-5pm, 6-9pm

Membership Tiers:

From $100-$395/month we offer a variety of memberships; Glaze & fire only, Weekend Warrior, 1 shelf, Big Red shelf and Resident Artist. 10% discount on all classes and workshops. How to apply?

We offer a rolling application process. Memberships are for a minimum of 2 months in duration, with a 30-day cancellation policy. Our application process is COMING SOON, so stay-tuned! Our plan is to open the studio doors for members by September/October 2025.
